Darbhanga City
Darbhanga is one of important city situated in North of Bihar and is approximately 131 km from Patna the capital of Bihar, India. It is the districts headquarter and many of its important administrative offices are situated in Laheria sarai, a twin-city of Darbhanga. City boasts of multicultural environment and has rich history dated back to the times of Ramayana and Mahabharata periods.

20.09.2017: On the occasion of auspicious Durga Puja, IPS Officers Wives Association members visited Asha Deep Rehabilitation center for the Handicapped and distributed sweets among children. They also gifted Loudspeaker set to the center.
The program was inaugurated by Smt Poonam Thakur, President, IPS Officers Wives Association, managed and directed by Smt Madhurima Raj, Secretary and thanks giving was by Smt Meenakshi Maharaj and Smt Chitra Kumar.
Continuing with "Operation Vishwas", Patna Police starts police patrol using cycle, aimed to reach every nook and corner of city. SSP Manu Maharaj said, women police personnel are being involved in large number in different initiatives run under Operation Vishwas and we are working with new ideas to boost the confidence of the public.

Speaking at the Bihar State Marwari Conference organized at Bihar State Chamber Of Commerce, Honorable Governor Ram Nath Kovind praised the work done by organizations in the field of social welfare and asked to contribute more on social causes like Dowry-abolition, drugs-abolition.
School childrens participated in Traffic security campaign which is being organized from 5th - 15th January 2017 to create awareness about traffic rules and safety among people. The campaign was flagged off by Dr. Chandrasekhar Singh, DM and Meenu Kumari, SSP Darbhanga.

Many people, association and LNMU joined together at his statue in LNMU campus to pay tribute to the legend.
