Darbhanga junction rating wakes up officials, promises to make it better

19.05.2017(Darbhanga): In a recent nationwide survey of cleanliness, Darbhanga Junction finds the last place in list of A-One Grade stations. While the income generated from the Junction puts it to the A-One Grade list of Stations, on the other side public facilities and cleanliness record is nothing to mention about.

Reacting on the survey report, while some people seems to be of opinion that the railway officials are not doing their duty well, others also believed that public participation is important to maintain cleanliness.

The report seems to have caught the railway officials off guard who are now seems to be in hurry to improve the situation at Darbhanga Junction.

Samastipur Division Senior Commercial cum Public Relation Officer Virendra Kumar said that it is shameful to get such rating and we are reviewing the reasons and lapses. We are taking the adequate measures and finalizing action plan to improve the cleanliness standard at Darbhanga Junction.
