Sahitya Academy Award 2020 -Dr Kamalkant Jha receives award in Maithili category

21.03.2021(Darbhanga): The notable writer Dr. Kamalkant Jha receives the Sahitya Academy award 2020 in Maithili category for his book of short stories "Gaach Roosal Achhi". A collection of 27-short stories which revolves around Environment preservation and its importance in today's society.

Sri Kamalkant Jha born in a village near Madhubani district has been active in literary field for over 55 years and has authored many books, poetry collections, Novels and Drama. He continues to support different Literary associations and involve in social welfare activities.
