Tree Plantation Drive "Van Mahotsav" in Darbhanga

04.08.2018(Darbhanga): To increase the green cover in and around Darbhanga city, the district administration has organized tree plantation drive with an aim of planting 1 Lac 27 thousand trees.

During the "Van Mahotsav" which will start from 01 Aug till 10 Aug, trees will planted on identified empty ground, sides of Roads, river sides and other places which will increase the green cover and make the city more beautiful. The drive is run under guidance of DM Dr. Chandrasekhar Singh.

In a meeting chaired by DDC Dr. Kaari Prasad Mahto, he directed all program officers to ensure the proper implementation and participation from people to make the drive as success.
