Police arrests members of Auto Theft Gang, recovers 9 motor bikes

04.02.2017:A police team including SHO Bahadurpur, Dilip Pathak, Police Inspector, Gautam Kumar, Police Inspector, SHO OP Rupak Kumar Ambuj, Beta Surendra Paswan, Gaya Ghat, Santosh Kumar, Pator OP Pawan Kumar, Rayaam Police Station Krishan Chandra Bharti, Bholpatti OP Umesh Kumar, APM Police Station Shivmuni Prasad and Sadar Police station got success in arresting members of bike theft gang and recovering stolen motor bikes.

To control the increasing bike-theft cases, a police team was formed under guidance of SSP Darbhanga. The team got first success in arresting Deepak Kumar Shah from Madhubani who was involved in buying stolen vehicles. Swiftly acting on the information provided by Deepak Kumar Shah, police team conducted raids in Darbhanga and Madhubani districts and arrested 12 members of the gang.

Police recovered a total of nine bikes during the operation. As per the information shared by police, out of nine bikes, 04 were stolen from Madhubani, 01 was stolen from Bahadurpur and 04 were stolen from Sadar Police Station area.

Sharing the details police said that arrested gang members have prior police records and were involved in multiple crimes before.
