Motor cycle rally organized to create awareness for upcoming Humain Chain event

10.01.2018(Patna): A motorcycle rally was flagged off today by Patna DM Kumar Ravi at Gandhi Maidan. The rally is aimed to create awareness about the evil of child marriage and Dowry among people.

A large event of forming Human Chain on 21.01.2018 is planned by state government in order to create awareness among people about repercussions of child marriage and why there should be complete eradication of Dowry.

Slogans like "Beti meri bojh nahi, dahej doonga soch nahi", "Beti hai ek vardaan, dahej lekar mat karo apmaan", "Kam umar ki shaadi rokein, jeevan ki barbaadi roken" were carried out by participants including teachers and workers from Education department driving approximately 1000 motorcycles in the rally.

Thanking the participants, DM Kumar Ravi said that this rally is carrying an important message against age old social evil to the people and would also help in crating appropriate atmosphere for upcoming Human chain event.
