Darbhanga 4th International Film Festival 2017 -Press Conference

27.11.2016: A press conference organized today by Darbhanga Film Club to share the details and present the views on upcoming 4th International Film Festival.

This 4th International Film Festival will be held on 27,28 and 29 January 2017. Speaking about the success of organizing such events by Darbhanga Film Club, Lalit Kumar Jha, convenor said that the increasing participation from International Films and South Indian films are encouraging and making the event successful.

The aim of having such events is to promote Films and also raise the issues related to social causes through films, said Meraj Siddiqui, Chairman and Founder of Darbhanga Film Club.

Alamtash Alvi (Kaaf Organization), Raja Khan (The Prachar) and Anish Sinha spoke about the importance of having such events as it not only promotes tradition and culture of state but also helps in improving tourism and economic activities in the region.

Film festivals like this provides the platform for the artists and persons working in film industry and also presents opportunity to exchange ideas, said Vijay Kumar.

Darbhanga Film Club working member Jafar thanked the media for their support.
