08.03.2017(Patna): In a event organized at Hotel Maurya Auditorium by JD(U) Kalamjivi association, State Rural development minister Shrawan Kumar said that the government is focussed on development of women in state and have launched many schemes for their development. He said that Women development and social welfare department is working on priority for the development of women. The event was organized to mark the International Women Day.
Speaking further he said that the present state government is serious about their overall development and had announced reservation for women in Panchyat seats and in government jobs to increase their participation. Jeevika scheme is making the difference in womens life and would further empower them in their development.
He facilitated and congratulated Dr Muniba Shami, Mamta Mehrotra and Dr Shipla Chaudhari for their outstanding work in field of literature.
Sanjay Kumar Gandhi, Ranjeet Singh, Vishal Verma, Anil Kumar, Mamta Mehrotra, Dr. Muniba Shami, Dr. Shilpa Chaudhary and others also addressed the guests and spoke about importance of women participation and empowerment.
