SSP Satyaveer singh issues measures to ensure peace and harmony during Holi festival

07.03.2017(Darbhanga): In the wake of upcoming Holi Festival, SSP Satyaveer Singh instructs all police station in district to ensure law and order situation is maintained. Some of the main measures being taken by District police-

Peace committee meetings at all police stations and in sensitive villages
Identification of sensitive places
Sorting out any issue
No loudspeakers/DJ in the night
No obscene songs during Holi
Vigilance over fire incidents during holika dahan
To make public aware that it is not right to put colour on others without their consent
Special drive against sale and consumption of liqor
Deployment of magistrate and police at all sensitive places
Preventive legal action against anti-social elements
Track the movement of habitual criminals during Holi
At sub-divisional level and district level, QRTs will be placed in ready position
Rumours must be contained by public/media/administration
Special drive against triple byke riders
Sale and production of Toddy is also banned under new excise act
