Auto theft and Lost complaints can be filed by sending a message to police mobile nr

28.01.2021(Muzaffarpur): As per the police department press release, now the complaints related to lost items or auto theft can be filed by just sending message to police department mobile nr 7070201201. The message should contain full details including name, address, contact number and incident details.

The complain would then be forwarded to local police stations related to incident and acknowledgement would be sent to the complainant. The further activities to contact the complainant, verify the details and provide a copy of report.

The complainant can visit the police station to obtain the report. The process of filing the report should be completed within one day. In case of SHO not available for any reason the senior/delegate would be completing the needed process to ensure the report is filed and investigation is started.

This facility started under guidance from IG Ganesh Kumar, Tirhut range would help people by cutting down the unnecessary travel to police station.
