Darbhanga administration gets ready for Human Chain formation event

20.01.2017: Human Chain formation will be held in Darbhanga in between 12:15 till 13:00 hours on 21st Jan 2017. DM Dr. Chandrasekhar Singh and SSP Menu Kumari jointly issued orders which will be adhered to during the event.

In Darbhanga there are 2-Main Routes and 12-Sub routes has been marked covering a length of 342 kms on which Human Chain formation will be held. 18 blocks, 2070 coordinators and approximately 7 Lac people are expected to participate in the event.

To manage and administer the event better Darbhanga district has been divided in 344 sectors, 66 zones and 42 super zones, as per the information released by district administration.

To ensure the peaceful and successful event, district administration has planned to depute coordinators every 100 meters on main route and every 200 meters on sub route; every kilometer one sector officer along with police officer; every 5 kilometer one Zonal officer and senior police officer and every 12-15 kilometer one super zonal officer and zonal magistrate will be deputed.

District administration has also setup control room 06272-240600 which will work from 09:30 till 05:30 and can be reached by people in case of any assistance required.

To ensure the medical facility in case of any emergency, civil surgeon Darbhanga has been requested to deploy sufficient Medical team and ambulance along main and sub routes in the district. Nagar Nigam has been asked to ensure drinking water supply along all the routes.
