Nagar Nigam Elections - 396 Nominations filed, 3 cancelled after scrutiny

30.04.2017(Darbhanga): Total of 396 candidates filed their nomination for Nagar Nigam ward councillor elections. The nominations started from 19th April 2017 and closed on 27th April 2017.

During the scrutiny of nominations applications filed by the candidate, 3 nominations were rejected by Election Officer Vivekanand Jha on the ground of incorrect informations provided by the candidates.

The rejected nominations includes - Ward No 3 - Rubi Devi, Ward No 37 - Chandan Prasad Gupta and Ward No. 39 - Md. Saaleh. State Election Commission observer Khurshid Aalam and Ram Vilas Paswan were also present during scrutiny of applications.
