Protest continues, demanding speedy justice in case of Manoj Chaudhary Murder case

02.04.2017(Darbhanga): Different political parties and groups like Mithila Student Union and Bedari Karwan etc continues their protest today demanding speedy trial of murder convicts and justice for the family for late Manoj Chaudhary.

On 25th March 2017, Manoj Chaudhary was murdered by setting him on fire by criminals just few metres away from the Laheriasarai police station. He was first treated at DMCH and then PMCH and later transferred to Delhi where he at last succumbed to his injuries. Slain Manoj Chaudhary was resident of Kabilpur in Laheriasarai area and it is said to be land dispute which cost his life.

Since then different political and other groups are mounting pressure on district administration and police department for stern action against involved people and speedy justice for the family of Manoj Chaudhary.

Police SSP Satyaveer Singh taking action has ordered suspension of Laheriasarai SHO and constituted special investigation team including ASP and SDO Sadar to investigate the murder case. The police is said to have arrested the culprits and further investigating the case.
