Patna DM orders strict action against non performing ANM and Asha workers

17.02.2017(Patna): Finding the lapses in work done by ANM and Asha workers, Patna DM Sanjay Kumar Agarwal directed Block Medical Officers to prepare a list of ANM and Asha workers who are not performing their duty satisfactorily. The list is then to be forwarded to district civil surgeon office. DM also also issued orders to discharge from their duty such ANM and Asha workers who are absent for last three months without any information.

The lapse in work done by ANM and Asha workers directly affect vaccination of children and also medical help required by women. He further asked officials to review the work done by Asha workers.
