Hardcore naxal arrested in Patna

23.12.2016: In a major breakthrough, Patna police got success in arresting hardcore naxali Md. Abdul alias Aazad from Karbigahiya Bus stand area. Arrested naxali Md. Abdul alias Aazad is member of banned organization C.P.I.M.L Magadh range central committee. Based on the information that Aazad has been seen in area near to Karbigahiya Bus stand, a police team was formed by Patna SSP Manu Maharaj which quickly started investigating, collecting information and conducting raids in order to arrest him.

Police team used available technical and scientific surveillance methods to collect the information and also started investigation other cases registered against Aazad and his associates.

Acting swiftly on a tip-off that Aazad might come to take bus from Karbhigahiya bus stand and travel somewhere, police team laid the trap and arrested Md. Abdul Kalam Aazad alias Nasim alias Aazad. During the investigation police found that he murdered Rajdev yadav in 1996 and also had lead the team who attacked Police team in the same year in Paliganj Police Station area.

Further information indicates that he amassed properties worth crores of rupee over the years. Police team continuing further investigation in the matter and other cases registered against him. The whole police operation was being directly monitored by Patna SSP Manu Maharaj.
