One Stop Center for women inaugurated


31.01.2017:Under the initiative of Govt. Of India Ministry of Women & Child Development, "One Stop Center" for women was inaugurated by R. K. Khandelwal, Commissioner Darbhanga at Women Help Line office today.

The "One Stop Center" aims to provide all kind of physical and psychological support to women who are victims of various kinds of violence. Speaking on the occasion R. K. Khandelwal said, that the center will be equipped to provide required medical, consultancy, legal, lodging, food, cloth and other required things to victims of violence.

Dr. Chandrasekhar Singh said, that this center is second in Bihar after Patna. The center is at present having 3-bed facility which will be increased to 5-beds.The center at present will be operational from 10:00 AM till 05:00 PM and will be made operational 24hrs once more officials are deputed.
