Issue of traffic Jam at Laheriasarai Gumti must be addressed: MSU

27.06.2020(Darbhanga): In a day long protest by Mithila Student Union, the issue of continuous traffic Jam at Laheriasarai Gumti and suffering of people was raised. MSU District President Abhishek Kumar Jha said that the protest is organized to make the Government and administration aware of the issue and to raise demand of the public to start construction of overbridge.

The Laeriasarai Gumti traffic chaos has become an ordeal for the people who need to cross the gumti for their daily work. Now with the double railway line getting started the situation is expected to become worst.

MSU's Abhishek Kumar Jha said that Government must take immediate action to widen the road and start construction of overbridge to ease the situation. The district administration must depute traffic police to regulate the traffic so that people can get some relief. The protest would be continued by MSU if Govt & district administration fails to take any action, he further added.
