Lalit Narayan Mithila University First Alumni Meet

25.02.2018(Darbhanga): Lalit Narayan Mithila University first Alumni meet will be organized on 26.02.2018 at Campus Jubli Hall starting from 11:00 AM.

As per the event details released from University, the programs on the day has been divided into two main parts. In first session, there will be facilitation ceremony of the special guests who are alumni of the university and also Souvenir will be released. The session will be chaired by Prof Surendra Kumar, Vice Chancellor, LNMU and chief guest will be former Vice-President of Nepal Sri Pramanad Jha.

The event will be graced by presence of prominent guests- Padmshri Dr Mohan Mishra, Prof Kripashankar Singh, former vice chancellor APJ Abdul Kalam university, Lucknow and Manishankar Thakur, IAS(retired).

Prof Arunima Singh, Chairperson Alumni Association will welcome the guests and stage operation will be directed by Dr. Vijay Mishra, Director, Library and Information Science. Thanks giving will be by Dr. Anis Ahmad, Psychology department, LNMU.

A seminar on the topic "Importance of education in personality development" is planned in the second session which will be presided by Vice Chancellor Prof. Jay Gopal. Prof Shamim Ahmad Ansari of Aligarh Muslim University's Psychology department will give speech on the topic. The session will be supported by Dr. Bhaveshwar Singh, Zoology department, LNMU and Dr. Diwakar Jha, Commerce department, LNMU. Thanks giving will be by Prof Punita Jha, English department, LNMU.

The event is a good step in the direction of bringing together the Alumni of the University and provide a platform where the experience and information can be shared for the benefit of students.
