District gears up to fight COVID-19 Community Spread

17.04.2020(Darbhanga): District administration and health department is continuously expanding the capacity and vigilance in order to control the community spread of deadly Coronavirus.

Building on the initial preparation, DMCH since beginning of this week has doubled it's testing capacity to 60 tests per day. This would not only help to get the results faster but also provide much relief to patients coming from neighbouring districts who would not have to visit Patna to get the test done.

DM Dr Tyagrajan SM also issued directives to all Block Officers and Police Stations to keep track of people in their area who has visited foreign country and came back after mid-March. The people found with any symptoms must be tested and the area must be put under quarantine till the tests are completed.

So far as per DMCH released information there has not been a +VE case in District.
