DM Dr Chadrasekhar Singh reviews preparation for upcoming Human chain event and appeal to participate in large numbers

09.01.2018(Darbhanga): In a review meeting organized at Dr Bhim Rao Ambedker auditorium, DM Dr Chadrasekhar Singh addressed all present Block Officers, Ward Counsellors and representatives of political parties regarding upcoming event of Human Chain formation on 21.01.2018 and asked them to support the event.

The state government is to organize a mega Human Chain formation event on 21.02.2018 to create awareness among people against age old social evil of Child marriage and Dowry system.

The repercussions of child marriage and why there should be complete eradication of Dowry system were mentioned in the meeting and everyone from district counsellors to representatives of political parties said in unanimity that they are committed to the cause and will do everything to support the event and create awareness among people.
