Police arrests criminal wanted in firing on police official and other cases

19.02.2017(Darbhanga): Police arrested a notorious criminal Chandan Singh s/o Bhola Shankar Singh resident of Hayaghat, Darbhanga in a raid from Chipliya Mohalla under Sadar Police Station Area. Police team under ASP Dilnawaz Ahmed arrested the criminal and recovered a USA made pistol and ammunition among other things.

Sharing the details police said that arrested criminal Chandan Singh is a notorious criminal and is wanted in more than dozens of case including one of firing on police officer Santosh Kumar, firing on Panther Vir Bahadur Singh Samastipur and Bajrangi Murder case. Recently he was absconding in a rape case which was lodged in Hayaghat.

Following the information provided by Chandan Singh, police also arrested one Guddu Kamat said to be involved in selling banned liquor.
