Central aviation team inspects security arrangements at Darbhanga Airport

14.02.2018(Darbhanga): A joint team of Buero of Civil Aviation Security and Airport Authority of India Securities arrived here to review the security arrangements at Darbhanga Airport. Since Darbhanga has been included in UDAAN-2, a regional connectivity program, the activities to start Air service from Darbhanga has been picked up quite fast in recent months.

The officials from joint team discussed the security arrangements needed once the civil terminal is operational in detail with Airbase officials. They also discussed the requirement of CISF personals and security personals required for runway security and terminal security.

The team returned to Kolkata after the inspection and said that they will submit the report soon so that the required work is completed faster and air service can be started.
