Sarvshiksha Abhiyaan review meeting

In a Sarvshiksha Abhiyaan review meeting held at District Ambedkar Auditorium, MP Kirti Jha Ajad took strong notice of the Kasturba Gandhi School incident in which it was reported that the students were beaten. He directed that the warden of the school should be immediately transferred and investigation should be started.

On the other issue of more than one headmaster being posted to the same schools, he asked the information from District Educations officer. Unsatisfied with the answer he directed District Magistrate to start the investigation immediately in the matter.

The issue of cheating in construction of school building was raised by District Parshad Bhola Sahani. It is said that only 4 rooms were constructed whereas payment for 7 rooms were claimed. Finding the information from DPO Establishment and concern Engineer unsatisfactory, MP Kirti Jha Ajad further directed District Magistrate to get the investigation done immediately under some other district officer.

MP Kirti Jha Ajad also took notice of pending school constructions form year 2011-12 and directed officers to get the construction completed.
