Today regional seminar of PG Department (Chemistry) was held at Community Hall, CM Science College, Darbhanga. Seminar was inaugurated by LNMU Vice Chancellor Prof. Saket Kushwaha.
Speaking on the topic "Chemistry brings Ecstasies in material science" he said that one must understand the application of chemistry and vital roles it plays in everyday life. Further he emphasized on the point that the needed development work must be carried out but without destroying nature and natural resources.
Prof. Ranjit Kumar Verma, Patna University, spoke about how interesting the science of Chemistry is once one starts understanding it.
Prof Sayed Mumtazuddin, LNMU, spoke about scarcity of natural resource such as coal etc and how the demand can be fulfilled.
Dr. A. K. Gupta, Head of Department (Chemistry) & Dr. Indra Nath Mishra, President also spoke on the occasion and expressed their views on the subject.
Dr. Arvind Kumar Jha, Principal welcomed the guests earlier and highlighted the importance of such seminar and how it provides essential platform for the students to listen to the prominent speakers, to express their views and participate in discussion.
