Property dealer shot dead in broad day light, one arrested after police chase

06.09.2016: Adding to the recent murders what Darbhanga city has witnessed recently, criminals shot dead property dealer Shankar Madal today early morning in Laheriasarai's Saidnagar area.

Police suspects property dispute to be the main reason behind murder of property dealer. It is said that deceased had dispute over some property with his business partner.

Acting swiftly on the information police came in action and SDPO Dilnawaz Ahmad and his team who is said to be passing by the area gave a chase to criminals who were fleeing on Pulser bike. Bishanpur police station was also informed immediately and in joint operation police team managed to arrest one criminal while raid are still being conducted to catch other two.

As per the information police is conducting raids in Samashtipur and adjoining areas to catch other two criminals.
