National Health Mission Yojana review meeting

A district level meeting under National Health Mission Yojana was held today at district Ambedkar Auditorium. In the review meeting chaired by MP Kirti Jha Ajad, MLA Sanjay Sarawagi raised the issue of lack of medicines in all health centers. Block health officers reported that there is not enough supply of medicines from State Health Department and also they are not allowed to purchase medicines above Rs. 15000.

Kirti Jha Ajad directed district magistrate to send the proposal to State Health Department for medicine demand and also to make required fund available to ensure proper availability of medicines at health centers.

Taking notice of the other issues, MP Kirti Jha Ajad directed district magistrate to ensure proper functioning of Medical Mobile units. On which district magistrate assured of action within one month time.

Transfer issue of long service health officials on health centers were also raised and district magistrate was directed to take proper action.
