Mithila Rang Mahotsav - 2016 started at Lalit Narayan Mithila University

Three days Mithila Rang Mahotsav-2016 had started in LNMU Music and Dramatics Department. The Mahotsav innagurated by vice chancellor Devnarain Jha, Sanskrit University, Darbhanga and MLA Sanjay sarawagi by lightning the lamp with many other guests. The guests were welcomed by Head of Department Dr. Pushpam Narain.

Speaking on the ocassion spearkers put the emphasis on having these kinds cultural and traditional activities on a more regular basis to promote Mithils's rich culture. MLA Sanjay Sarawagi said he would be happy to get the theatre consturcted from his fund if the required land is made available by University.

After the inauguration ceremony, play "AAB MAANI JAAW" was played. The play is based on novel written by Anil Chander Thakur and dramatisations done by Mukesh Jha. The noted director Dr. Prakash Jha has directed the play.

Artist:
Sonia Jha, Neera Kumari, Puja Priyadarshani, Soni Jha, Mayanand Jha, Nikhil Guha, Manoj Pandey and many artist acted in the play in different roles.
