Laherisarai Gumti Murder case, police arrests 3 accused, recovers murder weapon


Police has resolved the Chatti Chock murder case by arresting three accused and recovering 7.65 bore pistol form them, said to have been used in murder. The murder case dated back on 10.06.2016 when around midnight a pan shopkeeper Indrajeet Kamati was shot by some unknown criminals. He was transferred to PMCH due to critical situation but survived. Based on the complain filed by victims mother police had raided the accused Harishankar Jha who later surrendered at court. Police there after continued with the investigation over an unknown assailant.

Continuing the investigation police had conducted raid on another suspect Prabhakar Choudhary alias Chulbul from where they recovered a mobile phone. During the analysis of mobile phone whatsapp data police found some pictures of weapon and picture of some other supects with weapon. Having the information police arrested all three accused - Prabhakar Choudhary alias Chulbul, Gulshan Choudhary both s/o Rabindra Choudhary, Salha, Bahadurpur and Suman Sekhar Singh alias Definit s/o Santosh Singh, Sher Bijaulia, Biraul Dist. Darbhanga while they were consuming liquor. All three accused confessed the crime and as per the police the firing was done by Definit. Both Prabhakar Choudhary and Gulshan Choudhary have prior criminal records.

Acting on the information from the arrested accused that the they have brought the liquor from Raju Shah resident of Balbhadarpur, police conducted another raid and recovered large amount of Ganja. Raju Shah also said to have past criminal history and has been convicted earlier in narcotics case.
