In a press conference organized today, Kirti Azad, MP said that the step taken by center government to end separate Rail Budget presentation in Lok Sabha would indeed reduces participation from Member of Parliaments. I will continue to fight for the welfare of people of Darbhanga and would start protest in December for Lohana-Taradih-Alinagar-Ghanshyampur-Baheri-Mukhtapur railway, said Kirti Azad.
He said, Mithila region has been neglected in National Highway Schemes and he would meet central transport and highway minister to get Darbhanga-Benipur-Kusheshwar Asthan, Dekuli-Sisauni, Ashok Paper Mill-Chikni Bideshwar Ashtan Path and Benipur-Rashiyaari-Jamalpur Path to be included in the highway scheme.
In his statement he thanked Honorable Supreme court to acknowledge the issues raised by him concerning the development of Cricket and said he would continue his fight against corruption and malpractice.
Coming hard on present Central Government and BJP he said, he has served the party with all his honesty and dedication and what happened with him is known to all. He said that it is sad situation that the people who could not be elected have become important decision makers and part of Central Cabinet. He said, he had and will continue to work for the people of the region and have full faith in them that they will stand with him when the time comes.
