Iqbal Ahmed Ansari sworn in as Chief Justice of Patna High Court

Honourable Governor Ram Nath Kovind today administered the oath of office to Iqbal Ahmed Ansari as Chief Justice of Patna High Court in a sworn-in ceremony held at Raj Bhawan, Patna.

At the ceremony, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Chairman of the Legislative Council Awadhesh Narain Singh, Deputy chairman of the Bihar Assembly Vijay Kumar Choudhary, Deputy Chief Minister Tejshwi Prasad Yadav, Leader of Opposition in the Bihar Legislative Council and several other ministers were present. Many other prominent persons and state officials including Judges of Patna High Court, Members of the Legislative Assembly, the ombudsman, Lokayukta members, Attorney General, president of various commissions / corporations / authorities, vice president, members, senior government officials were present.
