Police arrests contract killer wanted in Hira Paswan murder case

29.08.2016: Darbhanga police team today got major success in arresting contract killer Kartar Singh alias Upendra Singh Thakur alias Sardaar Singh alias Ustad resident of Kastawar District of Jammu & Kashmir.

It it to remember that on 14.06.2016 Hira Paswan was shot dead in broad day light under Mabbi OP police station area. Police team working on the case has already arrested other criminals Sanjeev Singh, Raman Singh and Chotu Jha in this case. However, main accused Kartar singh has evaded arrest so far.

Swiftly acting on the tip, police arrested Kartar Singh today and recovered many arms and ammunition from him. Recovered items included 2-Carbines, Country made Katta, magzines, bullets etc. Kartar Singh has been working as contract killer and has long list of crimes against his name and has been involved in many murder cases.

SSP Satyaveer Singh said that because of no real identification record and photo which exists in police record it was difficult to catch him. It is indeed a commendable work done by police team.
