Patna Police major success - Businessmen rescued from Kidnappers

In a rare display of brilliant planning, impeccable execution & coordination among different police teams, state police succeeded to rescue two businessmen who were kidnapped almost a week back from Patna Airport.

Sharing the details police said that these businessmen were invited on pretext of business and were kidnapped as soon as they landed in Patna. The investigation team working on the case under SSP Manu Maharaj got the information about involvement of criminal gangs probably connected to Naxals gangs based around Lakhisarai area.

Patna police team under able command of SSP and Lakhisarai police team started the operation based on information that kidnappers might have kept abducted businessmen somewhere in the difficult geographical terrains deep inside jungle where police can not reach easily. Planned meticulously by SSP Patna and SP Lakhisarai, four police team were constituted and CRPF team were also engaged to conduct raid during night time.

Police team went on foot for about 15 km inside jungle to avoid any movement which could have alerted kidnappers. Police team surrounded the hill and after a brief fire exchange and chase, police catched the criminals and rescued the businessmen.

Police also recovered many fire arms, edibles and drugs during raid.
