105th Bihar Diwas celebrated

105th Bihar Diwas was celebrated today in Darbhanga District. The day was marked with participations from senior district officials as well as Ward Paarshads and representatives of political parties in various social welfare programs organized during the day.

The day started with cleanliness drive in many parts of the city under the guidance of DM Balamurugan D. DM reviewed many places and issued order to Nagar Aayukt for taking immediate action to ensure proper drainage of water and sanitation.

During the day Liquor prohibition march started from Harahi Pokhar and passed through Allalpatti, Beta, Laheriasarai, Lohia Chock and finally concluded at Nehru Stadium.

Various other cultural and sport programs organized during the day those included - Cultural Programs, Bollyball, Jodo-Karate, Kabbadi competition and candle lighting in district collectriate premises.
