Earthquake causes panic in Mithila area - 5 people died and more than 29 injured


Update 26th April 2015 21:50 PM : Fresh tremor felt at 21:47 PM Sunday evening of magnitude 5.4. More panic among people, administration in full swing to keep situation under control and provide relief.


Update 26th April 2015: Second round of Earthquake hits around 01:35 PM on 26th April Sunday causes more panic.
Second Earthquake of Magnitude 6.7 hits many part of India.


25th April 2015: Saturday morning Earthquake of magnitude 7.8 left at least 25 dead and more than 150 injured in Bihar. The epicenter was 83 km north-west of Kathmandu in Nepal.

It created shock and panic situation among the people in northern part of India. As per the report three persons killed in Darbhanga, two persons in Madhubani, two persons in Saran, two persons in Araria and one each in West Champaran, Supual and Sheohar.

Also confirmed report of 29 persons getting injured in Darbhanga. The historic Darbhanga tower and Darbhanga fort wall was partially damaged because of such strong tremor.
